and Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Sah is an Associate Professor, Division of Cardiology, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He is a Physician/scientist trained at University of Toronto; Weill Medical College of Cornell University; and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard University.
Dr. Sah, who discovered the metabolic pathways regulated by the novel target and defined the MOA and SAR for the Senseion SN-40X, is an inventor on the foundational patents.
Daniel J. Lerner, MD

Dr. Lerner has worked in successful life sciences companies for the past 15 years as Chief Medical Officer of TYRX™ (acquired by Medtronic), Co-founder of CV Ingenuity (acquired by Covidien), and Senior Vice President of Molecular Programs at FoxHollow (acquired by EV3). He received degrees in mechanical engineering and biological sciences from Stanford University, an completed medical school, residency, cardiology fellowship, and post-doctoral molecular medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Lerner is an inventor on patents for multiple drug/device combination products and an author on publications of both molecular and clinical investigations.
